Rental Japanese is not a typical tour experience.
There’s no flag to follow, no fixed route,
and no group moving from spot to spot.
Why We Do This
There are already countless tours in Japan.
Many of them are well-organized, efficient, and carefully planned.
But they often follow the same routes and show the same version of Japan.
Rental Japanese was created for something different.
Instead of following a guide with a flag, we wanted travelers to experience Japan
with a local Japanese person casuaL, natural, like spending time with a local friend.
Not from a guidebook’s perspective, but from a Japanese point of view.
What We Don’t Do
Tours where a guide explains everything while holding a flag.
Mixed group tours with people you’ve never met.
Experiences that treat Japan like a checklist.
What We Value
What matters to us is the local perspective.
